Descended from Sir Francis Annesley, 1st Viscount Valentia, Dorothy Philipps and Jane Stanhope.

Lady Dorothy Annesley, granddaughter of Sir Francis and his first wife, Dorothy Philipps, married Sir Richard Power, 1st Earl of Tyrone, whose family were cousins to the Blood family.

Sir William Annesley, great-grandson of Sir Francis and his second wife, Jane Stanhope, married Lady Anne Beresford, whose family were cousins to the Blood family.
