<p>Descended from William BLOOD and Margery ROW.</p>

<p>William was a grandson of Edmund Blood of Makeney. For William's ancestors, see <a href="blood_kilnaboy.shtml#blood_557" class="red">The Bloods of Kilnaboy</a>.</p>

<p>A note - although the only references I can find of William, show him as the son of Edmund Blood (b. 1568), Edmund left Duffield for Ireland in 1595 and these references also show William as born in 1600, in Duffield, Derbyshire.  William in later years was of Dunboyne, Co., Meath, Ireland. Therefore, I believe that William was in fact born in Ireland and not in Duffield. I welcome someone who has been able to establish proof of William's birthplace.</p>
