<p>Descended from George Stoney and Eliza Johnston. The Stoney family tree has been taken back two generations to tie together four different connctions to the Blood family.</p>

<ul>
<li>George Stoney married Anne Blood.  George was the grandson of George and Eliza, and Anne was a 6th great grand-daughter of Edmund Blood of Makeney.<br /><br /></li>

<li>Margaretta Sophia Stoney married George Johnston Stoney. Margaretta was the great-granddaughter of George and Eliza, and George was the son of George Stoney and Anne Blood, and was therefore 7th great grandson of Edmund Blood of Makeney.<br /><br /></li>

<li>Hugh Baker Stoney married Mary Anne Blood.  Hugh was the brother of Margaretta Sophia, mentioned above, and a great-grandson of George and Eliza.  Mary Anne was a 6th great grand-daughter of Edmund Blood of Makeney.<br /><br /></li>

<li>James Johnston Butler Stoney married Elizabeth Lucy Minchin.  James was the grandson of George and Eliza, and Elizabeth, although not related to Edmund Blood of Makeney, was descended from the Chadwick family. Their descendants have further ties to the Minchin family.<br /><br />
